NEW IN | HELMUT LANG

It's already a while ago when I bought this baby from Helmut Lang because I forget to post about it but still it's worth posting after all this time. About 2 months ago I got a message from SPRMRKT that they were having a huuuuge sale with everything from €5 to €100. Ofcourse I went there with al my savings to spend but I couldn't find anything worth buying. Upstairs there was also a sale area, but the €5 -€100 didn't count there. That's where I ound this beauty. I fell in love immedeately. You see, fact is that I love fur, I love grey and I'm always cold. So mr. Lang made this jacket for me. But OMG then I saw the price, which I actually don't want to talk about because it still hurts deep inside. Eventually, to make a long story short, I took it home with me and I'm still in love with it.

This sunday the BF and I went to an asian restaurant in the Hague called spiZe. It´s such a trendy place with delicious food and I can recommand it to everybody to go there!  This icecream was the best part of the evening. If you would like to go there yourself, check their website.

ISTANBUL | must go to

Istanbul was really amazing! If I had the opportunity, I would go back next week already. We´ve seen so many beautiful things, made new friends, went clubbing and so much more. Here are some pictures to give you an impression of my fantastic four days with the girls.

On the 16th of november I'll go to Istanbul for four days with two of my AMFI friends. I arranged that we can go to a jeans manufacturer and a wholesale centre but since we have never been there before  maybe you guys have some tips or must see/go to places?

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. This week I've been busy with the Beyond Green Sustainability project for AMFI. We're participating on the makeatree.org and warmsweaterday.com competitions.My group got the assignment to make a tree out of mannequins. For the warm sweater day we designed a 'love sweater' which you can attach to your boyfriends so he can keep you warm and the heat can be turned off. In this way we can reduce 7% of CO2 emissions!

This week is all about sustainability, which is a very important subject of course but I can't always keep my concentration. Therefor we have the green bitch. She keeps an eye on all of the AMFI students, if they are all acting green. It's kinda like gossip girl. Really good to come through the 'sustainable' days. COS is finally coming to Amsterdam. With stores in Antwerp and The Hague, now COS opens her doors in Amsterdam. And if we have to believe the rumors, they will open their doors in the ´9 straatjes´ at the end of this month.

So, Saturday I went to a Oktoberfest party. We all had to dress up as a 'heidi or heino'.
I had so much fun! There was a lot of beer, german music, wurst and I even got second in a beer contest while I don't even like beer! The costume looked also quite nice and I can't wait to put it on again, haha.

MoochShop | Den Haag

Meet Moochi

Last Saturday I went shopping in the Haque with my bf. After buying a painting and some clothes we got lost and we ran into this really great shop: MoochShop. I got really enthusiastic by seeing so many beautiful things. I fell in love with the leather Atiga bags because of the shape and the material but there were so much other lovely things!

In the name of 'Moochi' Dani, the owner of the shop, designs beautiful things which makes her and others happy. Her designs makes me very happy! She's inspired by different cultures and her environment. I loved the fact that some wallets were inspired by her dad's. The whole feel of MoochShop is very surfer meets city. The designs are laidback basic but also very fashionable. For every occassion/ outfit there's a bag. I've made a wishlist because my birthday is really soon and I would love to have the camel Atiga bag and one of the leather wallets but I saw so much more which I really liked.
